WELCOME TO THE BORN WISE STUDIO
IN 2024 we are launching our new program – The Born Wise Studio! The Studio has been designed to meet the needs of our growing community. As the children grow out of the Early Years we observe the change in the learning needs. The Studio was created as a space to serve the older children in our village.
The same Born Wise philosophy – but tweaked to suit the developmental age and stage of the children as they move into middle childhood and their teens.

THE BORN WISE STUDIO SERVES CHILDREN IN MIDDLE CHILDHOOD TO TEENS.
BORN WISE TERM PROGRAM
We have two term-time programs.
The Born Wise Children’s Garden (our Early Childhood Program) and The Born Wise Studio (Middle Childhood to Teens).
Both programs operate under the same philosophy.
Our Early Childhood program provides a Discovery based learning approach while the Studio program offers an experience of Mastery based learning.
We believe in giving children time and space to BE.
We believe in giving children time and space to PLAY. We run authentic play & nature based programs for children aged 4 years and above.
You might be looking for an alternative to traditional Kindergarten, Pre-Primary and Year 1. Somewhere young children can enjoy play and being outside in a learning environment that nourishes childhood.
Or perhaps you have a homeschooled child who is looking for a community to play and learn with?
We also cater to children who have been in school and are looking for some time away from traditional school.
Our programs run as an 8-week term. We offer invitations for children to explore. From our Artist in Focus to books, storytelling and science – our main emphasis is on nurturing wellbeing via relationships and play.
We enjoy a family/village approach to learning with multi-age groups and smaller numbers than traditional classrooms.

Born Wise Education is honoured to operate a self-directed, play-based program within the beautiful setting of Woodstone Farm, a stunning, organic, family farm within the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia.
WHEN DO WE OPERATE?
We offer a 3 day program. You can enrol for all 3 days, 2 days or 1!
NATURE-BASED LEARNING
We consider nature to be our greatest teacher and inspiration.
DAILY RHYTHM
A typical session follows a flow nourishing to children. We gather together in Morning Circle before transitioning to a combination of creative and nature based experiences as well as the Born Wise Teaching Elements.
Each session includes storytelling, ritual and gratitude and of course, there is always time for play.
